GRADING INFO: Pins are handmade items and therefore subject to a range of variation from unit to unit; there is no such thing as a "perfect pin." Each individual design is graded on a curve unique to that run, therefore the grading standard is subject to shift from design to design. Each pin is assessed and graded on it’s own unique terms practicing best and fairest judgment. Flawed pins are not sold in the shop. Common flaws on pins stricken from sold inventory include: missing/incorrect enamel fill, holes, breaks, discoloration, or particles such as dust or glitter in enamel fill, line breaks in metal plating, missing/faulty effects and deep, major polishing scratches across the surface of the pin. Aside from functioning posts, the back side of pins are not considered in grading.
